47th Annual Creative Arts Student Exhibition
Through May 3
USF will present its 47th Annual Creative Arts Student Exhibition from April 3 through May 3 at the Mimi and Ian Rolland Art and Visual Communication Center. USF invites the public to a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 14, at the Rolland Center. USF will then present a convocation and awards program at 7:30 p.m. in the North Campus Auditorium. The free exhibition will display works by students currently enrolled in USF Creative Arts. Majors include studio art (painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, sculpture, metalcraft), graphic design, art education, pre-art therapy, animation and computer art. 3Rivers Federal Credit Union serves as sponsor of the exhibition. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. The gallery will be closed Easter weekend, April 7-10. Bishop D’Arcy Stadium Suites Dedication and Open House

Alumni and friends are invited to the ribbon-cutting, blessing and open house for the new suites at Bishop D’Arcy Stadium. The event, taking place during the spring football and men’s soccer games, begins at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 15. The spring intrasquad football game will begin at noon and fans are invited to visit the suites during breaks, learning about suite sponsorship and the Cougar Club. Creative Dining will sponsor refreshments. The men’s soccer exhibition game vs. Hillsdale College begins at 4 p.m. and will offer soccer fans a chance to tour the suites through halftime of the soccer game. Formula for Life 5K
Sunday, April 16
The annual Formula for Life 5K run/walk and silent auction will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 16, on the USF campus. The annual event raises money for Our Lady of Perpetual Help Orphanage in Haiti and the community hospital, as well as USF medical, veterinary and mental health mission trips to Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Commencement and Baccalaureate Mass

USF celebrates the achievements of the Class of 2023. The day will begin with the Baccalaureate Mass at 9:30 a.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 1105 S. Calhoun Street. USF Lecture Series with Dr. Gaetano LaRoche

Assistant Professor of Art Education Dr. Gaetano LaRoche will share his expertise at the Allen County Public Library as part of the USF spring lecture series, May 10 at 7 p.m. His talk is titled “Painting and Drawing Over Time: The Work of Gaetano LaRoche.” Dr. LaRoche will discuss the development and change within his paintings and drawings over time. USF Launches Discovery Academy
June 5 through July 24
USF Discovery Academy will offer summer camps for young people interested in pursuing a college degree, as well as camps for children as young as kindergarten age.
