Sr. Jacinta Krecek, OSF, who has graciously served the USF community for the past 15 years, has been assigned by Provincial Superior Sister Margaret Mary to move to Lafayette, Indiana. She will become the house superior for our Sisters living and working in Lafayette.

Sr. Jacinta joined Saint Francis in 2008 as assistant professor of theology and most recently served as director of campus ministry. In this role, Sr. Jacinta initiated St. Joseph’s Food Pantry to serve the needs of our students and co-workers and has overseen the process of acquiring and renovating the Saint Francis retreat center.

We will miss Sr. Jacinta and her kind and gentle presence on campus. Sr. Jacinta’s last day will be Aug. 11.
