Let the candles in the castle windows, the shining Christmas trees and the shimmering lake bear witness to the Nativity of Jesus Christ coming alive on our campus.

As we celebrate The Gift at our annual Christmas at USF tradition, rejoice with us at many activities exploring the awe and wonder of the season.

Christmas Story – Adventure Series

Johnny Cougar Narrates Christmas New this year! Join Johnny Cougar and a cast of beautiful nativity figurines as they share the Christmas story on the small scale in a fun and lighthearted manner. In the twelve days leading up to Christmas you can receive a daily installment of this one-of-a-kind rendition of the Christmas story direct in your email. To get in on the fun please sign up no later than Tuesday, December 7th. Wherever you are, please join us as we celebrate this amazing time of year.

University Choir’s Christmas Concert

Breakfast with St. Nicholas

Bring family and friends for food and fun while learning about St. Nicholas. Of course, St. Nicholas is the saint whose life forms the basis for our modern-day Santa Claus. Enjoy this annual event, which features a buffet breakfast, story time, crafts and games. Tickets are available at usfstnicholas2021.eventbrite.com. Admission: $10 per adult, $6 children ages 2-12. Lighting of the Lake and Living Nativity

Blessing of luminaries dedicated to those special; vigil lights to encircle Mirror Lake. The lighting of Mirror Lake adds to the beauty of the season, with friends and family dedicating luminaries to those who are special to them. Petting Zoo at 5:30 p.m. followed by the Living Nativity; portrayed by members of the university community, this special event follows the Christmas crèche tradition, which re-enacts the birth of Christ. End the evening with cookies and hot cocoa at Achatz Hall of Science and John and Toni Murray Research Center.
