New Student Orientation (NSO) is the kickoff for the USF First Year Experience! During NSO, students will have the opportunity to engage with faculty, staff, student leaders, and their peers. New students will get to experience our community at USF, and they will be equipped to begin their college career on a solid foundation through participating in sessions/activities on learning, leadership, and service!

Whether you are a first-time freshman or a transfer student, we want to ensure that you are equipped with the information, resources, and relationships needed for a transformational college experience at USF! All new students are required to attend New Student Orientation. After you have been accepted to USF and paid your confirmation deposit, please be sure to make your selection for one of our New Student Orientation 2019 event dates because these spots fill up quickly! The deadline for completing your online registration is 1 week prior to each available event date. The NSO 2019 sign up form can be found on a new student’s My Cougar Connection (MCC) Cougar Checkpoint.
