Mission Integration & Spirituality

The Office of Mission Integration and Spirituality fosters and extends the mission and Franciscan Values of the University of Saint Francis to every part of the campus community. Catholic and Franciscan themed events and religious services, projects, and enrichment opportunities are offered through this office for students, faculty and staff which help to build Christian community, increase understanding of our Catholic-Franciscan traditions and heritage, and encourage integration of the Franciscan Values into one’s life. Some of these offerings are:

  • Founders Day Mass and Convocation which begins the academic year
  • Feast of St. Francis of Assisi – Transitus, feast day Mass, Blessing of Pets
  • U Can Crush Hunger fall food drive to benefit Community Harvest Food Bank
  • Las Posadas and the Living Nativity during Christmas at USF
  • H2O Project during Lent to benefit Clean Water for Haiti
  • God’s Extravagant Love
  • Book discussion groups
  • Presentations on Franciscan topics and Catholic Social Teaching
  • Lending of Franciscan books and media
  • Pilgrimage to the Mount (motherhouse of Sisters of St. Francis of Perpetual Adoration)
  • Pilgrimage program for students
