Production
USS provides production support for educational videos, recording of lectures, supplemental video for Blackboard, and recording of special USF events. Technicians are also available to operate sound equipment, PA systems, LCD projectors and computers for your event. This service is limited to a first-come, first-served basis. Arrangements must be made at least two weeks in advance in order for USS personnel to be made available to render service.
To request either of these services, please submit a Track-It Work Order.
Media Duplication
USS does provide some limited facility and capability to duplicate CD's, DVD's and VHS tapes. This service is available to USF Faculty and Staff. Students may not take advantage of this service without prior arrangements through their instructor or a USF staff member. Those wishing to use the service will be required to provide blank media for duplication or their department will be charged for the costs of the materials that USS uses for duplication. Please contact the Help Desk for more details.
USS can also make arrangements to outsource larger duplication jobs to duplicating services located locally.
We also have limited capability to record programming off of our Comcast cable feed onto VHS or DVD for classroom, educational use.
