System Advisories
2/13/08:
A phishing attempt has recently resurfaced which uses a hit-man scare tactic to extort money from recipients. The message states that the sender has been hired to "terminate" the recipient unless a specified amount of money is sent. USF email users should not be alarmed - as with any other spam email, simply ignore and delete the message. Email users are reminded to NEVER RESPOND to any type of email requesting money or personal information.
