Students in the surgical technology program at the University of Saint Francis have the unique opportunity to experience four semesters of clinical courses. This approach allows students early exposure to the operating room environment, while gradually taking on more responsibility. By graduation, the average student has participated in over 160 surgical procedures in all surgical specialties. During clinical sessions, students are closely supervised by University of Saint Francis faculty who are experienced surgical technologists and educators.
Students feel competent and ready for employment as Certified Surgical Technologists after completing the surgical technology program at the University of Saint Francis. The program’s high employment rate attests to the confidence that employers have USF graduates.
