Social work education recognizes the value of academic learning within a social work setting. Social work students have the opportunity to apply and adapt classroom learning in a social work agency through two field practicums. One is a junior practicum requiring 75 hours in a field agency. The other is a senior practicum requiring 400 hours in a field agency.
