Welcome to the School of Health Sciences Simulation Lab
The Simulation Lab was the brainchild of Dr. Lorene Arnold and built in collaboration with Parkview Health. Students learn current health care practices in the simulation lab using high fidelity patient simulators with realistic human physiology such as breathing, bleeding and blinking. Students experience a variety of scenarios with the infant, child and adult human patient simulators. These expertly designed experiences promote the development of competent health care professionals who provide safe, high quality, patient-centered care.
The Simulation Lab director is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator and a member of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare and International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning.
