Student Activities Council

All students are welcome to attend SAC's Wednesday night meetings to share ideas on what events and activities they would like to see brought to campus. SAC meets at 9 p.m. in the SAC office in the Student Center.

The Ultimate Road Trip

The Ultimate Road Trip is an annual event that is hosted by the Student Activities Council. Four destinations for the trip are chosen by the members of the group, and one of these cities are drawn from a hat the night of departure. When students sign up for this trip, they have no clue where they are going, and have to pack their way for cities ranging from New York to Des Moines to Atlanta.

The dates for the 2012 Ultimate Road Trip are:  Friday, March 2 - Sunday, March 4! 

WHEN: departing Friday night, March 2, 2012, spending Saturday, March 3, 2012 in destination city and returning to campus Sunday morning, March 4, 2012

WHERE:  One of four possibilities – Nashville, TN,  NW Arkansas, Washington, DC, Charleston, SC

TIME:  specific times will be determined closer to date (see above for general timing)

COST:  $20 for USF students who sign up before noon on Friday, February 10, 2012. 

                $25 for USF students who sign up after 12 noon on Friday, February 10, 2012.

                $40 for non-USF students, if spaces are available after noon Friday, February 12, 2012.

DETAILS:  SAC is sponsoring two charter buses for the 11th annual Ultimate Road Trip.  However, a total of 80 students must be signed up by Friday, February 10, 2012 at 5PM in order for the second possible bus to be confirmed.  In the event that they second bus is not needed the first 50 persons registered (and paid) will be confirmed as going.  A seat is not guaranteed for you until you have paid.  In the event that a registered and paid student cannot go, a refund will be given provided that a student on the waiting list is able to go in place of the student requesting the refund.  Students may sign up in the Student Center outside Melissa Reesman’s door.  Your purchased seat includes transportation to and from the destination as well as snacks along the way, information on all four possible destinations as well as an activity book and the chance to participate in games to win cash.  Meals and any activities you choose to participate in while on the Ultimate Road Trip are your responsibility.
