Dr. Adam DeVille Signs Two Book Contracts in One Week
This past spring break was no vacation for Dr. Adam DeVille (Associate Professor of Theology), as he signed two book contracts in the same week.
The first contract is for an edited collection, to be published by the University of Notre Dame Press, on the future of Eastern Orthodox Christianity in North America. This volume will consist of the proceedings from a conference on that topic held in March 2012 in Los Angeles at Loyola Marymount University, where Dr. DeVille gave a paper.
The second book, to be published in late 2014 by Routledge Press, is an edited collection, "Eastern Christian Encounters with Islam," for which DeVille is writing the introduction and conclusion, and serving as editor of twelve essays by leading specialists around the world treating countries such as Syria, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Russia, Greece, and others.
