Eat something before you arrive.
Bring your school ID and password for the computer session, it really helps!
Some students bring a back pack or bag to help carry around orientation information and handouts.

Freshmen Orientation
If you just graduated from high school, then you need to attend Freshmen Orientation August 22nd - 23rd.

Schedule of Events
Friday Aug. 21 - for students living on campus only
- Noon - 5:00 pm: Move in to your residence hall
- 5:30 - 7:30 pm: Picnic for students and those that helped them move in. Located outside the Pope John Paul center (Hutzell athletic complex if inclement weather)
- 7:30 pm: Picnic ends and families say goodbye
- 8:00 pm: Come mingle with other new students while enjoying a campfire at the cove and refreshments in the student center
Saturday Aug. 22 - Orientation Begins (required for freshmen all students)
- 7:30 - 8:30 am: Breakfast in the dining hall (optional)
- 8:30 - 9am: Check in for orientation at the North Campus and pick up your t-shirt to wear for the day (arrive early to avoid waiting in lines)
- 9 – 4pm: Orientation and activities
- 4 - 5pm: Commuters attend special ice cream social and residential students take an hour to relax
- 5 - 6:30pm: Dinner
- 7:30 - 8:30pm: Ultimate Frisbee
- 9pm: Movie on the lawn outside of Hutzell
Sunday Aug. 23 - Orientation continues
- 10:00 – 11:30am: Brunch
- Noon – 12:45pm: iConnect Activity in the North campus auditorium
- 4:00 – 4:50 pm: Athletics Meeting (required for all USF athletes)
- 7pm: Mass in the Trinity Hall chapel (optional)
- TBA: Residential Hall meetings (required for all students living on campus)
