Eat something before you arrive.
Bring your school ID and password for the computer session; it really helps!
Some students bring a backpack or bag to help carry around orientation information and handouts.

Freshmen Orientation
If you just graduated from high school, then you need to attend Freshmen Orientation Weekend, August 21st - 22nd.
There are two steps to the sign up process. Students (not parents) are asked to complete these steps so we can get to know you better. Please complete both steps.

Schedule of Events
Friday Aug. 20 - for students living on campus only
- Noon - 5:00 pm: Move in to your residence hall
- 5:30 - 7:30 pm: Picnic for students and those that helped them move in. Located outside the Pope John Paul II Center (Hutzell athletic complex if inclement weather)
- 7:30 pm: Picnic ends and families say goodbye
- 8:00 pm: Come mingle with other new students while enjoying a campfire at the cove with refreshments in the Student Center
Saturday Aug. 21 - Orientation Begins (required for all freshmen students)
- 7:30 - 8:30 am: Breakfast in the dining hall (optional)
- 8:30 - 9:00 am: Check in for orientation at North Campus and pick up your t-shirt to wear for the day (arrive early to avoid waiting in lines)
- 9:00 – 4:00 pm: Orientation and activities
- 4:00 - 5:00 pm: Commuters attend special ice cream social and residential students take an hour to relax
- 5:00 - 6:30 pm: Dinner
- 7:30 - 8:30 pm: Ultimate Frisbee
- 9:00 pm: Movie on the lawn outside of Hutzell
Sunday Aug. 22 - Orientation continues
- 10:00 – 11:30 am: Brunch
- Noon – 12:45 pm: iConnect Activity in the North campus auditorium
- 4:00 – 4:50 pm: Athletics Meeting (required for all USF athletes)
- 7:00 pm: Mass in the Trinity Hall chapel (optional)
- TBA: Residential Hall meetings (required for all students living on campus)
