Class of 2013 New Student Orientation

Orientation is your formal introduction to the USF community. During orientation, you will have the opportunity to meet faculty, staff, and students and begin to make life-long friends, learn about your community responsibilities, answer any of those last minute questions before school begins, and find out about people, places, and programs, all while having fun!

What Are You?

Class of 2013

Orientation is your formal introduction to the USF community. During orientation, you will have the opportunity to meet faculty, staff, and students and begin to make life-long friends, learn about your community responsibilities, answer any of those last minute questions before school begins, and find out about people, places, and programs, all while having fun!

When is Orientation?

If you are a freshman (just out of highschool), orientation will occur on August 22-23. You must sign up. If you are a transfer or adult student, orientation will occur on August 15. You are required to attend and must sign up.

What if I can't make the orientation date?

If you can't make the orientation date, please contact the Student Life office at (260) 399-8100 and explain your situation.

Can I bring a guest to orientation?

Orientation is just for newly-enrolled USF students. Parents and other guests are not encouraged to attend.

Do I have to pay for orientation?

The orientation fee is included into your student bill, so make sure to get your money's worth by attending!

When do classes begin?

Classes begin on Monday, August 24.

What materials will I need for orientation?

Please bring your USF student ID along with the password, good shoes for walking, and a pencil/pen for writing.

How should I dress for orientation activities?

Orientation activities are casual, so dress for comfort.
