January 21, 2013: A Day ON
On January 21, 2013, across the United States we will celebrate the national holiday honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. As they have since 1994, thousands will remember Dr. King by joining hands and forces to serve their communities.
The University of Saint Francis community will unite both on and off campus through a variety of efforts. Won’t you join to make this holiday "a day ON," and not "a day OFF?"

Program Outcomes
It is anticipated that the event in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. will:
- Unite students, faculty, administration, and staff members for the purpose of providing service to the community.
- Inspire a life long commitment to civic engagement based on the life and legacy of Dr. King.
- Encourage participants to understand and to reflect upon the impact their service makes on the community and on themselves.
- Help participants understand how their service supports the Franciscan identity of the University Of Saint Francis.
