Over 480 graduates of USF in Fort Wayne and Crown Point picked up the fruits of their labor—diplomas—at USF's graduation May 5. A baccalaureate Mass in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Fort Wayne preceded the commencement.
University of Saint Francis head baseball coach Greg Roberts has been named Mid-Central College Conference co-Coach of the Year. The Cougars finished 27-9 in the MCC, a USF record for conference wins and winning percentage.
Hundreds of people gathered in the new USF Performing Arts Center in downtown Fort Wayne for "The Future of Nursing," which launched a series of free educational lectures in the facility. Nursing and medical professionals from across the state contributed to an expert panel, a USF Sim Lab demonstration took place and a health careers job fair was available.
Students in the School of Creative Arts won 37 ADDY awards, including two prestigious Judges’ Choice awards, from the American Ad Federation of Fort Wayne at the organization’s award ceremony.
