The USF men's basketball team is ranked in the NAIA Top 25 as they cruise toward the last home game against Grace Saturday. The first round of the Mid-Central College Conference tournament begins Feb. 22, with some tough competition. The MCC includes more NAIA-ranked teams-Grace, Indiana Wesleyan, USF and Marian-than any other league or independent.
USF’s 2011 Physician Assistant class has repeated last year’s 100 percent first-time pass rate on the Physician Assistant National Certification Exam. This is the third time in the past five years for all of these master’s degree students to pass the national certification exam on the first try.
USF has named Mike McCaffrey athletic director after his interim service as AD for nearly a year. University officials praised his professionalism and ethics as interim director, and welcomed him to his new post in mid-January. Congratulations, Mike!
