The Department of Exercise Science and Health offers a major in Exercise Science and Health, training students for careers in fitness training and management, public health, community health education, and other health-related fields. Choose from one of three tracks:

Track 1 - Community Health Promotion: Students learn to develop, implement and interpret health risk assessments; plan, develop and evaluate individual and group educational programs; and manage and administer health promotion programs. Courses within this track prepare students to qualify and pass the certified health education specialist (CHES) exam.
