Requirements
The following requirements apply to both the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Community and Health Education tracks.
- Meet general admission standards for graduate education at the University of Saint Francis
- Hold an associates degree in nursing or diploma RN
- Hold a current license as a registered nurse
- Have an undergraduate GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
- Satisfactorily complete a graduate or undergraduate statistics course within the last five years
- Submit a résumé or curriculum vitae
- Submit three letters of reference
- Complete and submit the USF RN-MSN Essay (Written Goals). The MSN Essay should be typed, 1-2 pages in length and address the following questions: (1) what are your professional goals? and (2) how will a graduate degree impact your nursing practice?
