Endowed Scholarships
The University of Saint Francis has many endowed scholarships with varying criteria. The amounts and number of each scholarship varies each year based on funds made available from the endowment. These scholarships are awarded based on criteria established by the donors and applied to tuition and fees. The general application will be available again January 1st for the 2014-2015 academic year.
The University of Saint Francis is still seeking applications for the following scholarships:
Menzie/Essex Scholarship
Must be related to an Essex employee and a Business Major with a 2.25 GPA or higher. Must demonstrate need. Scholarship can be renewed. Download the application.
Marie Koester Scholarship
Must be a graduate of a Catholic High School with a 3.0 GPA or higher and demonstrate financial need. Download an application.
Agnes Hake Seyfert Memorial Scholarship
Priority is given to women age 40 or older who never attended college or interrupted their college career to raise a family. (Women under 40 and men may also be considered.) Students may reapply each year. Download an application.
Milton Haffner
Must be a new full-time USF student who graduated from Bishop Dwenger or Bishop Luers High School. Award is based on student’s academic and extra-curricular (excluding athletics) performance during high school. Award is automatically renewed during sophomore, junior and seniors years at USF if the student remains full time and achieves at least a 3.2 GPA. Download an application.
Saint Joseph Nursing Alumni Scholarship
Must be a Nursing student who is a graduate or whose family member is a graduate of Saint Joseph School of Nursing. (If no Nursing students apply, the award may be given to an Allied Health student whose family member is a graduate of Saint Joseph School of Nursing.) Download an application.
Sister Lucia Dos Santos O.C.D. Scholarship
The Sister Lucia Dos Santos O.C.D. Scholarship Fund was established to award one recipient each year. The scholarship will be a one time award to the selected candidate. The amount of the award will be based on interest earned each year. The winner is chosen a the committee, which includes religion and philosophy faculty from USF. The award can only be used for tuition costs. Download an application.
