Adam Green

Hollywood—it’s a place known for making dreams come true through the art of film. No one knows this better than Adam Green, an alumnus of the School of Creative Arts Computer Art program at the University of Saint Francis. “The USF Art Department exposed me to a curriculum that focused on the importance of art and design first and technology second, which has proved to be pivotal in my career.” Adam is presently a computer animator for Walt Disney Feature Animations and Twentieth Century Fox Animation. Some of Green’s most recently work includes Disney animated film Bolt, as well as Twentieth Century Fox Animation’s Horton Hears a Who, based on the Ted Geisel (Dr. Seuss) 1954 book. According to Green “There’s a lot of fun things about being a feature film animator! Each shot brings its own unique challenge to overcome, and its certainly never boring. The thing I love the most about being an animator has to be watching the final film in theaters with a real audience. Hearing them react positively to something I’ve worked on has to be the best feeling ever.”

Green is currently working at Blue Sky Studios on Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. Additionally, he has worked as an animator for several animated video games including LucasArts on Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (Xbox 360) and for Shaba Games as an animator on Shrek the Third (PS2, Xbox 360), Shrek Superslam (PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, PC) and Northpoint: Shape Masters (DVD). When asked for words of wisdom Green states, “Like anything in life, you get out what you put into it, and USF is no exception. But rest assured if you're willing to give it your all, USF has the knowledge and tools to prepare you for almost any artistic ambition.
