Accreditation
The Department of Education has received the approval of two national accrediting organizations. First, the University of Saint Francis is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP).
Second, since 1972, the USF Department of Education has been nationally accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). The School Counseling program is included in the NCATE accreditation of the Department. The Department follows rigorous guidelines set by NCATE. In doing so, the Department better guarantees its delivery of high quality teacher and counselor education programs.
