Mike McCaffrey begins his first year as a faculty member within the Keith Busse School of Business. He is an instructor in the area of Sports Management. Mike also works full-time in the USF athletic department as Director of Athletic Marketing and Promotions, a position he has held since April 2008.
Prior to coming to USF, McCaffrey spent the previous nine years in professional minor league sports, including arena football, baseball and hockey. He has held every position in a professional front office, from intern to public relations to General Manager. At the age of 29, he was named the General Manager of the Fort Wayne Fusion (af2), becoming one of the youngest General Managers in all of professional sports.
McCaffrey also serves as the faculty advisor for the USF Sports Management Club and is enrolled in the USF Leadership Certification Class.
