Joe Steensma In addition to over 10 years of service at University of Saint Francis as an adjunct faculty lecturer, Mr. Steensma founded ISG, Inc. which grew to become one of the premier prevention services companies in the United States. In early 2007, ISG, Inc was acquired by Concentra, which is one of the largest health services companies in the United States. Prior to joining the business faculty at USF, Mr. Steensma most recently served as Vice President of Development for Concentra Health Solutions.

Besides his success as an entrepreneur and businessman, Mr. Steensma worked as a toxicologist for Monsanto Co., was an occupational and environmental health specialist for The Weldon Spring Site Remedial Action Project (Department of Energy Nuclear site remediation), and served in senior-level management positions prior to founding ISG.

Mr. Steensma's areas of interest are in healthcare, the role of primary prevention in the healthcare system, and biostatistics. He is well versed in toxicology and life sciences as well.
