Danny Powell, Ed.D., M.B.A., M.A.
Prior to becoming an Assistant Professor at the Keith Busse School of Business and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Powell spent 25 years in the financial services industry. His experience includes financial consulting, portfolio management, sales management, operations management, business consulting, and firm ownership. Dr. Powell has extensive experience in organizational evaluation, change management facilitation, and organizational behavior consulting.
Dr. Powell has an MBA, MA, and a Doctorate in Organizational Management from Oakland City University. His dissertation was titled; “Transformational Leadership: It’s Effects on Job Satisfaction and Production per FTE in Autonomous Professional Organizations”. Dr. Powell’s research interests include Organizational Behavior, Leadership Behavior, Entrepreneurship, and Small Business.
Dr. Powell is married to his wife Cathy, and has two children, Carli and Blake. His hobbies include weight training, running an occasional marathon, hunting, and waterskiing.
