Dan Dorau Adjunct Instructor Dan Dorau has been teaching computer classes in corporate and educational settings since 1992. He has also worked with the states of Indiana and Ohio increasing computer literacy and competencies within their welfare to work programs among students ranging in age from 12 to 74.

After receiving a Batchelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication with a concentration in secondary education at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, Dan worked in the insurance industry for several years and helped popneer automation of the claims adjusting process for one of the major Indiana insurance companies. In 1995 he earned a Master of Science degree in Information and Communication Science from Ball State University.

Dan's career for the past 13 years has placed him with STAR Financial Bank as a Senior Application Support Analyst were, among his other information technology duties, he creates and teaches computer classes for fellow employees. Dan taught as an adjunct for several years in the community college arena before joining the University of St. Francis in 2008.
