Dr. Christie Onwujuba-Dike received degrees in political economy, finance, public affairs and accounting and certificates in government financial management (CGFM). She has a very diverse teaching expertise and has taught a variety of courses across the various disciplines on the graduate and undergraduate levels. She has extensive teaching experience in quantitative method, economic, finance, business and public policy courses. She also has a good research and scholarly record. Dr. Dike has taught at a variety of different institutions, including a three and half year teaching stint in the United Arab Emirates. She has reviewed and developed academic programs nationally and internationally. Dr. Dike has made more than fifty presentations at various professional conferences, conducted numerous workshops on economic development and empowerment in US, Europe, Middle East, South Africa, Central and West Africa. She has served on many community and nonprofit committees and boards including the Governor's Board on Economic Development in the State of Louisiana. Dr. Dike is a founder of a nonprofit organization that promotes programs that address poverty issues for youth and women. Dr. Onwujuba-Dike views herself as a change-agent and has a firm commitment to social and economic issues. Dr. Dike believes we are at our best when we give ourselves freely and joyfully for the benefit of our community, particularly the underprivileged.
Dr. Dike is married and blessed with two children. She is a very active member of her local church and community.
