Faculty FAQ
Use the links to the right in the sidebar to navigate through the topics. By clicking on a topic link you can view a variety of steps to perform actions within Blackboard and have some of your most common Blackboard questions answered. Also, available below, is the Blackboard Instructor Manual. Please download this searchable .pdf for a much more thorough and indepth look into Blackboard. We recommend every instructor have a digital copy of this available on their computer to refer to as the need arises.
If you find that your question or query is not addressed in the Faculty FAQ pages or the online Blackboard Instructor Manual please send an email to helpdesk@sf.edu with your question. The department of Distance, Instruction and Educational Technologies also schedules group training sessions or one on one opportunities throughout the year on various Blackboard topics. Please create a TrackIt to request one on one training or check your Bb announcement page for furture training opportunities.
N.B. Think of the trees! The instructor manual is over 300 pages, please print responsibly.
