November 9 Mariah Clements - The Effects of Photoperiod and Temperature on the Freshwater
Mussel Pyganodon grandis
Is a graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead where she studied
the effects of alteration of the geomagnetic field on larvae of the common
green darner dragonfly as well as the genetics of liverworts. She is currently
an adjunct professor at Marshall University in Huntington, WV while finishing
up an M.S. in biology there on how alterations in temperature and photoperiod
affect metabolic rate in the freshwater mussel Pyganodon grandis. She
currently lives in Huntington with two roommates, two cats, a chihuahua, seven
snakes, and a goldfish.
