Dr. Bequette teaches courses in Church History, Christian Spirituality, the Holocaust, and Ethics. He earned his Ph.D. from St. Louis University in historical theology. His dissertation was on the first biography of St. Francis written by one of Francis' early followers, Thomas of Celano. Dr. Bequette has published articles on the lives of the saints, monastic theology and Christian Humanism. He is also the faculty sponsor for the University of Saint Francis chapter of the Dead Theologians Society, an apostolate for high school age teens and college age young adults.
