On October 7, 2011, Dr. Lance Richey gave a talk to the annual meeting of the Catholic School Principals of the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend at Pokagon State Park in Angola, IN. The title of the presentation was: “Living Our Mission: Catholic Schools in the 21st Century.”
In his talk Dr. Richey dealt with the history of K-12 Catholic schools in the United States, the Church documents which have served to guide Catholic educators over the past century or more, and the challenges and opportunities confronting Catholic K-12 education (both nationally and within the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend) in the 21st Century.
