Fulfill the PE general education requirement while learning about the care and feeding of horses in the Health and Physical Education department’s Equestrian Course. Offered at the Red Cedar Riding Stables, the Equestrian Course is an overnight experience for beginning and intermediate riders. In addition to learning the basics of caring for horses, including horseback riding, hoof cleaning, bridles, saddles, and even barn cleaning, you will learn yoga and square dance as well. The course takes place from Friday afternoon to Saturday evening, and is offered every fall. An additional fee will be assessed for those enrolled in the course.
