The Department of Health and Physical Education is also the home for “Weekend Experience.” The courses included in Weekend Experience are designed to help fulfill the Physical Education general education requirement through an intensive one or two-day completion. These classes are available to all USF majors.
Challenge Course: Designed to encourage individual growth, self-esteem and team building, the Challenge Course lasts from Friday to Sunday morning and takes place at YMCA Camp Potawotami in South Milford, Indiana.
Equestrian Course: Study various aspects of the care and feeding of horses, including riding, saddles, feeding—even cleaning out the barn! The Equestrian Course takes place from Friday to Saturday at the Red Cedar Riding Stables.
