Please join the University of Saint Francis in welcoming poet, fiction writer, and publisher Dr. Joyelle McSweeney to campus as part of the Books and Coffee series presented by the Department of English and Foreign Languages and the School of Arts and Sciences. Joyelle McSweeney was born in Boston but did the bulk of her growing up in suburban Philadelphia. She received her BA from Harvard and holds an MPhil in English Studies from Oxford University, where she studied as a Marshall Scholar. She received her MFA from the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop. She is an Associate Professor at the University of Notre Dame. You are invited to a reading featuring Dr. McSweeney on September 17 at 7 p.m. in the North Campus Auditorium.
