Dr. King instructs Groundwater Hydrology, Site Remediation and Evaluation, and Environmental Ethics and Professional Practice in the Master of Science in Environmental Science Program at the University of Saint Francis. 

Dr. King is a Certified Professional Geologist, and is registered and licensed in Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee.  Professionally, Dr. King has held positions of President, Vice-President, Manager, Founder, Co-Owner, and Senior Hydrogeologist at several local, private environmental companies and governmental agencies.  

Dr. King serves on the Board of Directors for the Midwestern States Environmental Consultants Association and has been an appointed member of serveral advisory committees. He is a member of the American Institute of Professional Geologists, National Water Well Association, Association of Ground Water Scientists and Engineers, and Air and Waste Management Association.  

Dr. King has instructed university courses in geology at University of Toledo and Indiana University and has presented seminars throughout the region. Dr. King has published in nearly 20 environmental journals such as Waste Age, Ground Water Monitoring & Remediation, Hydrologic Science and Technology, and Journal of Ground Water
