American Mathematics Competition

The University of Saint Francis invites students and their educators, parents and supporters to the American Mathematics Competition (AMC). USF is the only registered Indiana site for the AMC this year. Teachers and parents are invited to encourage their students to register for this academically refining experience.

The AMC kicks off on Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 6 p.m. in the Pope John Paul II Center. Contestants will meet in the lobby to be directed to a test room. Food and refreshments will be available before the test, and parents will have activities open to them during the testing.

Students may be interested in knowing that academically qualified young mathematicians who participate in the contest and apply to the University of Saint Francis may be eligible for up to $9,000 annually in scholarships.

To register for this mathematics competition please contact Carolyn Exner, tel. 260-399-8067.
