Associates
SOCA offers an Associate of Art in Communication Arts and Graphic Design which provides students with working knowledge in a specific concentration. This is a two year, 65 credit hour in which students have the option of pursuing a concentration in illustration, photography, or computer graphics. Unlike the Bachelors Degree in Communication Arts and Graphic Design, students in the Associates program do not take general education requirements.
The university is also proud to offer an Associate of Science in Music Technology. This degree will provide an option to students who wish to pursue a career in a multi-media field that requires music technology skills and do not wish to pursue a four-year degree. The Associates in Music Technology degree will require only 67 credit hours for completion.
The Associate of Arts in Studio Art is an alternative for traditional and non-traditional students seeking art degrees. It includes many of the art and arts-related courses of the university’s Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art degree, and allows for completion in as little as two years’ time.
