Entrance Requirements
Requirements for admission include acceptance to the Graduate School and subsequent approval by the full-time faculty of the School of Creative Arts. Applicants must have an undergraduate degree in art and an undergraduate GPA in art of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale. Candidates not meeting these criteria may be accepted by special permission of the faculty but will maintain a status of provisional student until full admission criteria are met. Each applicant must submit an application for admission to the Graduate School as well as:
- A letter expressing goals in pursuing the degree
- An official résumé
- Official transcripts from each college or university previously attended
- A portfolio of artwork in the form of 20 slides or digital images
- Three letters of recommendation
