Presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, INC., New York.
The School of Creative Arts presents Steel Magnolias, a play about love, friendship, sadness, and the strength of women, directed by Brad Beauchamp. This heartwarming true story follows a group of friends who gather each week at a salon in Chinquapin, Louisiana. Tough as steel and fragile as the blossoms of magnolia trees, these hilarious characters gossip, tease, laugh, fight, cajole, and comfort each other as they go through life’s big joys and challenges.
