For Attendees
A guest account with your temporary username and password will be issued to you during registration. The guest account will grant you computer access across campus computers (including Vann Library) and will be needed for accessing the wireless network. The wireless network password will also be issued at registration.
Personally owned computers with wireless capabilities will be allowed on the wireless network. Please ensure all anti-virus software is up to date before attempting to connect to the wireless network. Smart phones with Wi-Fi capabilities will also be granted access to the wireless network. This includes the Apple iPhone, iPad, Android phones, and Windows Mobile. Instructions for connecting to the wireless network will be provided at registration. Technicians will also be present to answer any questions you may have.

For Presenters
The classroom computers are equipped with Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Office 2007, and Adobe Reader 9.3. Several plug-ins, including Adobe Flash Player, Adobe Shockwave Player, are installed and up to date as of March 2010. Video projection and room speakers are connected to the classroom computers.
DVD and VHS players and Document Cameras are also available in the classroom.
Personally owned laptop computers can also be connected to the existing projector and sound system. If you choose to utilize your own laptop for a presentation, please be sure you also have an external VGA cable. Technicians on campus will have a limited number of spares available.
