Welcome to the USF Family!

Now that you have done your celebratory dance, told all of your family and updated your Facebook, it is time to get down to finishing up a few odds and ends. Here is some information and a few steps you need to complete to make your transition to USF quicker and easier.

Complete Program-Specific Information

Some of our programs require additional information like essays or test scores. You'll get a phone call or letter with your complete list of requirements, but if you're afraid of missing something, you can always give us a call, 260-399-8000.

Send in Decision Card and Confirmation Fee

This card will be with your acceptance packet. Send this card and the $150 deposit to let us know you want to be a USF Cougar! You can also pay your deposit online through My Cougar Connection!

Send in Housing or Commuter Contract

We mail housing contracts after you submit a deposit. They'll need to be signed and returned, regardless of your housing plans. The office of Residential Life has some additional information about housing policies.

Submit Final Transcripts

Mail your high school transcripts and/or your GED scores (not the diploma) to: University of Saint Francis, Office of Admissions, 2701 Spring Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46808. You may have already sent in transcripts, but if they didn't have your final grades on them, we'll need the final transcript!

Schedule Placement Tests

To make sure we’re helping you choose classes that best suit you, you’ll take placement tests in English, reading, math and Microsoft Office 2010. We encourage students to take their tests prior to registration by calling 260-399-7700, ext. 6012. We understand that not everyone can make it to campus, so you can take the tests during registration. We just encourage people to test early, because if you test on registration day, you'll be here for approximately 4 1/2 hours!

Attend Registration

After you submit your deposit, you'll get a blue or yellow registration form in the mail. Return it as soon as possible so you can attend New Student Registration and sign up for your first semester of classes. During registration, you'll get to meet with a faculty adviser who will help make sure you're taking the right classes.

Complete Online Orientation Registration

All students are required to attend new student orientation. You will be able to sign up after you register.

Attend Orientation

New student orientation takes place in August before classes start, and all new students are required to attend.

Purchase Books

You can purchase your books online or from the bookstore on campus located in the lower level of Pope John Paul II Center.
