After You're Accepted
Congratulations on becoming a member of the University of Saint Francis community!
After you’ve finished celebrating your acceptance, we need just a few more things before you become an official USF student:
- Complete Program-Specific Requirements: A few of our programs, especially our healthcare programs, require extra information. If we need anything extra from you, we let you know. If you would like to double-check, you can always call your admissions counselor at 260-399-8000. A full list of Admissions Requirements is available on our Admissions Forms page.
- Send in Your Decision Card: With your acceptance packet, you’ll get a Candidate Decision Card. This card and the $150 deposit let us know you’re committed to a University of Saint Francis education. We will waive this fee when necessary, just be sure to talk with your admissions counselor.
- Attend Registration: Students who have submitted a deposit will be able to register for their first semester of USF classes. During registration you’ll meet with a faculty adviser to plan your first semester schedule. To make sure we’re helping you choose classes that best fit you, you’ll take placement tests in English, reading, math and Microsoft Office 2007. We encourage students to take their tests prior to registration by calling 260-399-7700, ext. 6012.
- Attend Orientation: New student orientation takes place in August before classes start, and all new students are required to attend. Orientation is planned to introduce you to the people, places and programs that help our students find success. Please note, when you are signing up, there is a special orientation especially for our non-traditional students.
We have also included more detailed information in your acceptance packet. See you on campus soon!
