Living At USF

Learning Outside the Classroom

Your university years are rich in growth and experience. By living on campus, your college experience will be enhanced through USF’s exciting and unique living/learning environment. The university has four residence halls including Padua Hall which features apartment-style living in an on-campus setting.

To live in a residence hall is to take advantage of a variety of educational, cultural, spiritual, and social opportunities. Accommodations include room, board, recreational facilities, and close proximity to classes. Students frequently mention the friendships formed during life in the residence hall—friendships that often last a lifetime.

Students jousting And, there’s usually something exciting happening on campus as well. The Office of Student Life coordinates many on-campus activities, including managing the various clubs and organizations on campus, planning fun homecoming events, and taking student trips around the country for volunteer work or just to have a good time. Focused student programming also helps you develop successful college habits and prepares you to enter the professional world after graduation.

The university requires all full-time undergraduate students under the age of 21 who are unmarried and are not living with their parents or guardian to live on campus. If you choose, you can live off campus starting with the semester in which you reach your 21st birthday.
