Cougar Athletics on the Prowl
University of Saint Francis sports teams are collectively known as the Cougars. The university participates in 15 women’s and men’s sports programs through membership in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). Intercollegiate sports for women include soccer, golf, tennis, cross-country, volleyball, basketball, softball, and track and field. The Cougar men’s teams compete in soccer, cross country, football, basketball, golf, baseball, and track and field. The football team competes in the Mid-States Football Association (MSFA) while all other athletic teams compete in the Mid-Central Collegiate Conference (MCC).
Athletic and athletic manager grants to attend the university are awarded to women and men of outstanding athletic ability in all intercollegiate sports. For complete information, contact the Athletic Director or the Office of Admissions.
The university also offers a variety of Intramural Sports for students throughout the year, including Kickball, Dodgeball, Indoor Soccer and more.
