- FastWeb - This site provides free, detailed information and step-by-step instructions. You will also be prompted to create your own private account name with your own private mailbox.
- College Board - This site provides a scholarship search feature, as well as a Financial Aid Services area that discusses tips on financial planning for students and parents. The site also provides useful background information about student loans.
- MACH25 - MACH25 is a simple and fast way to find aid for school. Users are prompted to create a user account which is used to search for scholarships. Instructions are provided on-line for you to conduct your scholarship search.
- Scholarships.com - A free search engine to find outside scholarships. The list of potential scholarship matches can be sorted by deadline, amount or relevance.
- Scholarship Hunter - A free search engine that does not require a profile be built to search potential scholarships and essay contests.

- The Lutheran Foundation - The Lutheran Foundation Health Professions Scholarship Program offers scholarships for those in a health care related field.

VA Information, Scholarships, Tax Information and other information regarding funding a college education
- ICPAC - ICPAC informs, encourages, and supports the education and career development of all Hoosiers. ICPAC operates a toll-free telephone Hotline staffed by information specialists who can answer questions and provide resources on education and career options.

- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) offers several programs administered by its Education Service. Aid is available for veterans, reservists, National Guard persons, widows, and orphans. Programs detailed on the VA Education Service website include the Montgomery GI Bill (for Active and Selected Reserves personnel), Veterans Educational Assistance Program, Survivors' and Dependents' Educational Assistance Program, Work-Study, and Tutorial Assistance. Toll-free numbers for assistance and benefit forms are included on the site.
- The Fund for Veterans Education was established to provide scholarships to veterans from all branches of the United States Armed Forces who served in Afghanistan or Iraq since September 11, 2001 and who are now enrolled in college or vocational-technical school.
- The United States Army offers education benefits for individuals enlisting in selected military occupational specialties. The Montgomery GI Bill and the Army's College Fund offer financial assistance to defray future education expenses. Students leaving college may be eligible for the Army's Loan Repayment Program. The enlistment option, for active Army or Army Reserve, repays eligible federally insured loans for education.
- AmeriCorps - A service program administered by the Corporation for National and Community Service, AmeriCorps allows people of all ages and backgrounds to earn help paying for education in exchange for a year of service.
