Bringing travels back to the classroom

Art historian and USF professor Elizabeth Kuebler-Wolf recently traveled to Beijing China to present a paper at an academic conference. During her travels through China, she was able to get firsthand experience of Chinese art and is now bringing that experience back to the classroom to share with her students.

After a hunting accident in December 2001, which resulted in a left trans-tibial (below knee) amputation, Brett Freiberger, practicing physical therapist assistant and recent USF graduate, sought a sport in which he could train and compete.

Internally auditing a Fortune 500

The Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Act of 2002 was enacted in response to a number of corporate financial reporting and public accounting scandals, including Enron, Adelphia, and WorldCom. At Lincoln Financial Group, a Fortune 500 company, senior Accounting major Tiffany Steinbrunner is interning as an Internal Auditor, SOX Compliance, tasked with reviewing management’s control environment by objectively auditing each control.
