Due to summer-time construction, the Planetarium will be closed from June to August 2009.

For this reason, there will be no planetarium programming during the Fort Wayne Three Rivers Festival this year.

However, this summer's constructional inconveniences will mean good news for you come this fall. Here is what you can anticipate.

      We expect to begin an expanded public show schedule in the fall.

      During this summer down time, our planetarium staff will be busy upgrading all the shows in our current catalogue.

      Educational groups booking shows for the 2009-10 school year can expect shows with new visual effects and content that reflects current astronomical data.

      All visitors to the Achatz Hall of Science and Planetarium will experience a new visitor friendly entrance area.
