There’s a sign-up sheet in Rene DePew’s door for the Trinity Lutheran Kids’ Café, a program that’s held two evenings each week at Trinity Lutheran Church in downtown Fort Wayne. Come and play with the kids and earn some community service hours and warm fuzzies. There’s more info on Rene’s door so check it out!

Enjoy participating in a Memory Walk at Foster Park to support and help raise money for the Alzheimer’s Foundation.

Lutheran Children’s Hospital

Every Friday from 1300-1700 during the fall and spring semesters

Come play with kids with the Child Life program! We’ll be amusing inpatient and outpatient little patients, doing everything from holding babies to playing Nintendo with teens. Sign up on the form on Rene DePew’s door in the Nursing Commons. Only three students may sign up on any given Friday. When you go to Lutheran to play with the kids, please DO wear your USF nametag and DO NOT wear jeans. Please note that you must be currently enrolled in a clinical course to participate in this activity—Lutheran needs to know we’ve already filled out all that health/confidentiality paperwork.
