University of Saint Francis Hosts Inspirational Speaker
For Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration
January 21, 2008, Fort Wayne,
Indiana: As part of the University of Saint Francis’
celebration of the life and values of Dr. Martin Luther
King Jr., the university will host inspirational speaker
E. Scott Smiley on Thursday, January 24 at 11:30 a.m. in
the Bass Mansion.
E. Scott Smiley, who will be
speaking on the achievements of Dr. King and their
relevance to today, has experienced success as a
teacher, coach and published poet. Smiley uses dynamic
poetry and vivid illustrations of concepts through
real-life experiences to captivate and engage his
audiences.
The University of Saint Francis,
founded in 1890, is a comprehensive university in the
Catholic Franciscan tradition, offering undergraduate
and graduate programs to more than 2,100 students from a
broad geographic region. |
