University Singers and Heartland Chamber Chorale
Perform Together at University of Saint Francis
February 8, 2008, Fort Wayne,
Indiana: The University Singers, under the direction of
Dr. Don Donaldson, will join the Heartland Chamber
Chorale and artistic director Bob Nance for a concert on
Sunday, February 24 at 4 p.m. in the North Campus
Auditorium (2702 Spring St.) at the University of Saint
Francis. The performance will feature selections from
American composers.
Bob Nance is the founding artistic
director of Heartland Chamber Chorale, a group started
in 1997. He has earned many honors and awards, including
serving as guest conductor of the Mormon Tabernacle
Choir and receiving the Indiana Arts Commission
Individual Artist Fellowship.
The School of Creative Arts (SOCA)
is an accredited school by the National Association of
Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).
The University of Saint Francis,
founded in 1890, is a comprehensive university in the
Catholic Franciscan tradition, offering undergraduate
and graduate programs to more than 2,100 students from a
