Pope John Paul II Center Recognized For Outstanding Design By National Publication

Indiana: The Pope John Paul II Center at the University
of Saint Francis was recognized by American School &
University magazine as an “Outstanding Design”
award-winner.
American School & University
stated that the Pope John Paul II Center “blends high
technology with traditional library collections (more
than 124,000 volumes) and services with abundant study
spaces.” Winners were selected based on the following
criteria: innovation, sustainability/maintainability,
safety/security, image/aesthetics, and life-cycle costs.
The Pope John Paul II Center was completed in Fall 2006
and was designed by Design Collaborative of Fort
Wayne.
The University of Saint Francis,
founded in 1890, is a comprehensive university in the
Catholic Franciscan tradition, offering undergraduate
and graduate programs to more than 2,100 students from a
broad geographic region.
